Rainbow Felted Butterfly Wings

This group was birthed from the desire for something different.  In a sea of common core, religious education, and the general push for early childhood academics, many families felt they were islands in this beautiful valley of the antelopes.  In searching for an alternative for the education of their children, some of these "islands" discovered the beautiful perspective of the kingdom of childhood as first articulated by Rudolf Steiner.  By some force greater than ourselves, we were drawn together and found something rare in this fast-paced, autonomous, modern society... a tribe.

 

It is our mission to provide a community for our children.  A safe place full of Love, and free of judgement. A place where they can discover this world they were born into while always retaining a wonder and reverence for the Earth and her bounty.  

 

Our families are not formed from the same mold, and there are many facets to us all.  Some are media-free, some are not.  Some children play with eco-friendly wooden toys, and others play with plastic My Little Ponies and Transformers.  Some are Pagan, some are Christian.  But all are commited to preserving our children's wonder and innocense, and supporting each other through our individual journeys.
